Dumpling Dog

While it’s tough to beat a classic hot dog with all the standard fixings, it can also be a lot of fun to merge a traditional hot dog with the flavors of other favorite comfort foods. With that in mind, we introduce you to the Dumpling Dog, featuring many of the flavors of your favorite take-out dumplings and every bit as fun to eat. Our weekly sale from June 30th – July 6th features Applegate Farms Natural Uncured Beef Hot Dogs and Bakerly Brioche hotdog buns, so pick up a pack of each and give these Dumpling Dogs a try!

Summer Pasta Salad

Looking for a cool meal for a hot summer night? Or a tasty make-ahead dish to take to a summer potluck? This pasta salad combines fresh, local summer veggies & local pasta with tangy dressing, olives, and feta for a perfectly balanced summer meal. Many of the ingredients are featured in our weekly sale from July 8th – 14th, so this one’s easy on the wallet, too! Feel free to be creative with veggie add-ins. This is the kind of salad that can be built around just about any veggies that are abundant in your garden (or the local farm down the road) this time of year.

Fish Tacos

These fresh, flavorful fish tacos are loaded with avocado and a zesty cilantro-lime slaw that make them particularly irresistible. Many of the ingredients are featured in our weekly sale from May 2nd – 8th, so they’re an excellent budget-friendly meal. If you like to kick up the spice factor, feel free to add a jalapeno to your slaw. We’d also love to recommend using Champlain Valley Creamery’s Queso Fresco (smoked or regular) as your shredded cheese option and a dash of local Sonia’s Salsa. Both pair so perfectly with this dish!
