Fish Tacos with Red Cabbage Mango Slaw

The Mahi Mahi featured in the sale comes to us from Orca Bay, which specializes in sustainably harvested seafood from responsible fisheries. This recipe will help you quickly pull it together and the slaw can be assembled a day or two in advance for quicker meal prep on a busy weeknight!

Summer Pasta Salad

Looking for a cool meal for a hot summer night? Or a tasty make-ahead dish to take to a summer potluck? This pasta salad combines fresh, seasonal summer veggies & local pasta with tangy dressing, olives, and feta for a perfectly balanced summer meal. Many of the ingredients are featured in our weekly sale from July 7th – 13th, so this one’s easy on the wallet, too! Feel free to be creative with veggie add-ins. This is the kind of salad that can be built around just about any veggies that are abundant in your garden (or the local farm down the road) this time of year.

Roasted Hakurai Turnips

Preheat oven to 400 F. Slice the turnips in half lengthwise so that there are still turnip greens attached to each half. Generously oil a baking pan and lay the turnips on the pan in alternating rows. Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil on top, then sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Roast the turnips for 30 minutes, or until the turnips are soft, golden, and the greens are crispy. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and enjoy!

Looking to spice up your burger game? We think you’ll love this spin on the classic inspired by the thin, heavily spiced Pakistani patties known as chapli kebabs. The author of this recipe, Samin Nosrat, shares that “what really sets these burgers apart are the flavorful toppings and condiments: thinly sliced onions, tomatoes and cucumbers, a creamy herbed yogurt, and tomato ketchup spiked with tamarind paste.
