Description

Planning to fire up the grill for Memorial Day weekend? Then perhaps you’ll be glad to hear that we’re featuring a lineup of items in our Weekly Sale from May 25th – 31st that are perfect for a barbecue! One of those items is an in-house-cut pork chop and if you’re new to grilling this cut of meat, we hope this recipe helps simplify the process!

Instructions

Rub each chop with a generous sprinkle of seasoning. Allow to sit for at least 30 minutes. Thick chops that are 3/4” thick or greater will need a grill that is hot on one side and low to medium heat on the other side. If using charcoal, build your pile of coals to one side of the grill. Once the grill is hot and ready, place the chops on the hot side of the grill and close the grill lid. Allow to sear for 1 minute. Open the grill and flip the chops, then close the lid again for another minute to sear the other side. Open the grill and move the chops to the cooler side of the grill and close the lid for 3 minutes. Flip the chops and repeat, allowing them to grill on the cooler side for 3-4 more minutes, or until the internal temperature of each chop is 145 F in the center. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes, or so. Serve and enjoy!
