Roasted Hakurai Turnips
Description
Preheat oven to 400 F. Slice the turnips in half lengthwise so that there are still turnip greens attached to each half. Generously oil a baking pan and lay the turnips on the pan in alternating rows. Drizzle a generous amount of olive oil on top, then sprinkle generously with salt and pepper. Roast the turnips for 30 minutes, or until the turnips are soft, golden, and the greens are crispy. Remove from oven, allow to cool slightly, and enjoy!
